APPLICATION

The Fontemar® water generator is designed to transform salty water into fresh water for human or industrial consumption. This equipment can be operated onboard or in inland facilities.

The device functions under the vacuum distillation principle.

Inside the device the salty water is boiled at low temperature (due to the vacuum created) and the steam produced goes through the separator and gets to the condenser. The water produced, after condensation, is sent to a storage tank by means of a pump.
